Recycling Policies

Last Updated: 7/22/2024

1. Our Commitment

EcoCycle Hub is committed to responsible and ethical electronics recycling. We adhere to a strict zero-landfill policy for all electronic waste we process. Our goal is to maximize the reuse of functional equipment and responsibly recycle all other materials.

2. Accepted Materials

We accept a wide range of electronic devices. Please refer to our "What We Recycle" section on the homepage for a detailed list. We do not accept items containing hazardous materials outside of those found in standard electronics (e.g., no loose chemicals, biohazards, or radioactive materials).

3. Data Security and Destruction

We prioritize your data security. All data-bearing devices are handled in a secure facility. We offer data destruction services that meet DoD 5220.22-M and NIST 800-88 standards. Certificates of Destruction are available upon request, especially for our business clients.

4. Drop-off and Pickup

Residential customers can drop off accepted items at our facility during business hours. For businesses with bulk quantities of e-waste, we offer scheduled pickup services. Please contact us to arrange a pickup and receive a quote.

5. Recycling Fees

Most consumer electronics can be dropped off free of charge. However, certain items that require special handling, such as CRT monitors, large TVs, and appliances containing refrigerants, may incur a small recycling fee to cover the costs of safe disposal. Please contact us for specific pricing.

6. Environmental Responsibility

We partner with R2 certified downstream vendors to ensure that all materials are processed in an environmentally sound manner. We are dedicated to reducing e-waste and promoting a circular economy.
